We were interviewed today by Even Steven Money! And it didn’t even hurt!
Things you will learn in this interview:
- Where we went to college
- Who would win in a race between Frugal Hound and Mr. Frugalwoods (obviously I’d beat them both)
- Whether or not we’ll reveal our identities
- What’s in store for Frugalwoods in 2015…
Things you will not learn in this interview:
- Crafts you can make from greyhound fur dust bunnies
- 9 secrets to buying a Lamborghini under list price
- Dead autumn leaves: a holiday recipe collection
Congratulations on your decision to retire early. Your story is very similar to mine. My wife and I also decided – last year – to retire before I’m 40 (currently, I’m 33). Saving about 75% of our dual income will help a ton in that regard, and the overall lifestyle change will, of course, enable long-term happiness.
Best of luck with your drive towards financial independence.
Thank you so much! Congrats right back at you! It’s certainly a freeing feeling to know you’re working towards independence and a happier, less stressful future 🙂
I want to get married just for the duel income…
It certainly is a perk! But maybe don’t use that as a pick-up line… 😉
Unless you truly love the other person, it ain’t worth it. 🙂
Truth!
Very cool interview!
Thank so much!
That was a great interview! I am very excited to follow your adventures. I’ll admit it, I tried to do some back calculations to figure your take home income.
Why thank you! Glad you’re following along :).
I enjoyed reading the interview! Hope to get to meet you guys at Fincon next year. 🙂
Thank you! Likewise–hope to meet you too! I’m waiting anxiously for them to announce dates and location…
Darn! I was really hoping you had a secret, awesome use for dog fur! 😛
All jokes aside, I really enjoyed the interview. I love learning more about the bloggers I follow.
Haha, if you find a use for dog fur let me know :)! Thanks so much for reading!
Thanks again for doing the interview, you’re the best Frugalwoods I know!
Awwww! Thank you for interviewing us–it was a pleasure 🙂
What impresses me most about you guys is your complete dedication to you goal. I have goals but still slip up or get easily swayed from time to time, but you both seem fiercely determined and it’s great you both found each other and had those same goals!
Aww, thank you! We’ve had many different goals over the years, but this one really feels like IT. We’e definitely 100% focused on it at this point in our lives.
